Other Issues in Media and Society

This article is intended to tell about several blogs, one way or another related to my blog. All of them talk about the problems that are relevant in modern society and must be understood and considered by every person today.

The first blog, which in my opinion simply must be read by every one of my readers, is the Social Media and Body Image blog. We often become a victim of deception when we see the perfect picture of people on social networks and consider them, unlike ourselves, to be beautiful, successful, and beautiful. However, thanks to modern technology, creating such an image will not be difficult. All these posts are fake, and in life, these people turn out to be the same as everyone else. The blog talks about how the media shape the picture of the ideal image, and thereby make a lot of different people feel uncomfortable or suffer in full.

Then, I suggest you visit two blogs dedicated to bullying and defamation in the media world. Unfortunately, such problems often arise in the world of mass media, since many people have been allowed to write insults and slander in someone
else's address anonymously and with impunity. Of course, there are many ways to deanon, but many ordinary users of popular social networks know about them. Such aggressive, offensive comments about another person ca
n at least ruin his mood, or in the worst case, life. There are many known cases in the world when cases of bullying led to disastrous consequences or even the death of the target of bullying. Since the majority of social media users are teenagers, in cases of bullying, they are often both sides. Such things should be noticed by the algorithms of social networks, but in this case, another question arises - what about freedom of speech?

The next blog I want to talk about is about media and family. When everyone has a personal gadget, and, accordingly, access to a huge amount of information, it is very important to control it, especially if you become a mother or father. Children absorb information like sponges, and it is extremely important to keep track of what content they consume since there is a huge amount of junk content on the Internet and its
consumption will clutter their heads and possibly give them the wrong values. As for me, the best solution to this problem is parental control over the content consumed by the child and limiting the time in the use of gadgets or other electronic devices. However, for parents, with the right search and critical thinking, the Internet can become a treasure trove of information on parenting.

The last blog I recommend to visit will be a blog about pop culture and its impact on modern people. Pop culture is present in everything from music to clothing. If you differ in tastes or preferences from the published standard, then at least you are strange. This blog is informative and entertaining and talks about the changes that pop culture has brought to society.
